5.10 Milestones Analsysis
Beginning with this business plan in January of 2012 we will be giving ourselves four and half months until we open Real Estate Funding Solutions during the middle of April.Both Ryan and David recognize the importance of being able to catch the spring and summer market and they will be working very hard to meet all the milestonesof this business plan in time to ensure that their doors are open just as the spring home buying market begins heating up.
After our business plan is completed and financing approved, we will be negotiating the lease. Our final selection of location will be dependent on the terms of the lease and the flexibility of the landlord. We will be applying to the State of New York for our banking license right away as well.
Premise modifications handled by DC contractors and Interior design handled by Design Services will be the two most time consuming elements of making Real Estate Funding Solutions a reality. Furniture and fixtures have already been selected by David – ordering and delivery schedules have been planned as well.
Advertising and marketing will be handled by Ryan given his experience in handling these elements of the business. A summary of the timelinesfor these items is presented in the milestones table.
