Home Roofing Contractor Free Roofing Contractor Business Plan 5.2 Positoning Analysis
Dependable Roofing will be positioning itself as a full service roofing contractor serving the target market of Kent county, Michigan. Their services will include new roof installation, roof repair, restoration and replacements. The firm will be looking to price its services at the higher end of the market for contractors and will also be able to provide niche roofing services like restorations and metal roofing.
All the work on the jobs will be done by James and Carmine themselves with help from one production personnel that they will be hiring in their first year of business.
The firm is anticipating that roughly two third of the revenues of the company will come from roof repair work and another one third will be driven by new roof installation or existing roof replacement. The rationale for this is quite simple - once a new roof has been put on a structure, unless there severe storms or other weather driven issues, roofs tend to be fairly stable and do not require regular upkeep unlike lawns.
Most of the repair work will entail patching up those parts of a roof that have been worn away like the flahsing around chimneys and skylights. This kind of repair work is fairly common and generates most of the revenues for a typical roofing contractor
