As covered earlier, we are estimating that Dependable Roofing will require a total of $108,100 in startup expenses. Both James and Carmine will be contributing $37,500 each to bring a total of $75,000 to the table.
Additionally the company will also be applying for a term loan with a community lender in the amount of $33,100. Both the owners understand that in the event the loan does not get approved or if the startup costs increase the original projected amount of $108,100, James and Carmine will have to contribute the remaining from their own personal savings.
Both James and Carmine have worked as independent roofing contractors in the Kent county target market for over 25 years each. Over the years, they have both been able to save money in various retirement accounts and have also been able to build excellent credit scores by paying all their suppliers and creditors in a timely basis. In the event James and Carmine need to come up with additional capital, they are ready, willing and able to do so.
