Home Roofing Contractor Free Roofing Contractor Business Plan 2.2 Startup and Acquisition Summary
Dependable Roofing has been started by James Kelly and Carmine Russo. The company will be providing full service roof installation, repair and replacement services tomostly residential and some small commercial structures located in Kent county, Michigan. The company will be fully licensed, bonded and insured and the owners are looking to hang out their shingles at their offices located in Grand Rapids, Michigan by January 2015.
Both James and Carmine have spent many years in the roofing business as independent contractors and together they bring more than 50 years of combined experience to the table. James and Carmine have also worked together on larger residential and commercial jobs when working as sub-contractors for a large regional roofing company.
James and Carmine looked in the possibility of acquiring an existing business, but decided that it was not worth the capital expenditure to buy that name and goodwill of an existing operation - they both feel that given their experience and knowledge of the local market, they are much better off simply starting off a brand new firm.
