Founded in 1933, the Colorado Restaurant Association (CRA) is the leading trade organization for the state's dynamic foodservice industry. Together with the CRA Education Foundation, the CRA represents, educates and promotes an industry comprised of more than 10,000 eating and drinking establishments. The CRA has approximately 4,500 restaurant members and over 200 allied trade members that provide products and services to the foodservice industry. The CRA offers independently owned restaurant members a dual membership with the National Restaurant Association (NRA). A 55-person Board of Directors governs the CRA, a nine-person Executive Committee directs policy and a paid staff of 16 manages the association’s day-to-day operations. The CRA has chapters statewide including three student chapters.

The Connecticut Restaurant Association has been a vital part of the state's hospitality industry since 1973. The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association is among the most influential trade associations in Florida. The association was established in 1946 to represent the restaurant industry. Since that time, the scope of FRLA’s representation has expanded to include the entire hospitality industry including lodging establishments, restaurants and thousands of suppliers to the industry. The mission of FRLA is to Protect, Educate, and Promote the hospitality industry. The FRLA has been effective in influencing legislation that has saved the industry $1.2 billion in taxes and fees over the past 10 years while representing Florida’s hospitality industry that represents a 57 billion dollar industry that is •20% of Florida’s economy generating 3.4 billion dollars in sales tax revenue and providing employment for more than 900,000 employees.

The mission of the Georgia Restaurant Association is to serve as the voice of Georgia's restaurants in Advocacy, Education and Awareness. The GRC was created in in 2003 in response to the belief that an independent restaurant association was needed to represent Georgia's restaurant industry, which had previously been served by the Georgia Hospitality & Travel Association (GH&TA). The GRA has swelled to a membership of nearly 600 corporate member companies, representing almost 2,500 restaurants. Today, the GRA provides a unified voice for an industry comprising over 17,000 foodservice and drinking places in the state of Georgia with total sales in excess of $14 billion and provides approximately 375,000 jobs.
