The Hawai'i Association of REALTORS® (HAR) is the largest professional trade organization in the State of Hawai'i. Founded in 1968, HAR has 8,300 members who are active real estate licensees involved in all aspects related to the sale, purchase, exchange or lease of real property in Hawai'i. Along with HAR, members belong to one or more of the six affiliated local boards throughout the State and the National Association of REALTORS®. The purpose of HAR is to enhance the ability of its members to successfully practice their profession ethically and competently, to serve the community, and to protect private property rights. HAR works in partnership with local and national REALTOR® organizations to provide products and services to its members, to support the industry through legislative advocacy, and to enhance and promote the REALTOR® image.
