The National Electrical Contractors Association, Louisville Chapter, NECA was founded and incorporated in 1930 by electrical contractors in the Louisville area who recognized the need for a strong association that could deal with their common problems. Services provided by Louisville Chapter NECA include: labor relations, marketing aids, technical training, business management, education, public relations, government affairs, advertising and safety programs.

Members of the North Louisiana Chapter of NECA are all qualified, reputable contractors that are duly licensed, bonded and fully insured to provide a safe, dependable and warranted electrical system. NECA trains their electrical workers at their own facility in a five year Federal and State approved training program financed by their members without any taxpayer funding.

The South Louisiana Chapter of NECA(National Electrical Contractors Association) was chartered and approved on August 10th of 1944. This designated all the state of Louisiana, which is south of Vernon, Rapides, Avoyelles and Concordia parishes as the jurisdiction of the chapter. The association’s chief purpose is to help enhance the position of its member companies, which are firms engaged primarily in power distribution and integrated systems (voice-data-video) work.
