Independent Electrical Contractors of Oregon is the sole voice of Oregon's merit-shop electrical contractor. With members of expertise in all aspects of the electrical construction industry, we are diverse and offer something for just about any firm engaged in electrical construction. Whether it is before the Oregon Legislature, United State's Congress, the Electric and Elevator Board, Oregon State Apprenticeship and Training Council, local building officials, or any of the other many bureaucracies that govern practices in their industry, IEC is the voice of its members and source of information.

The Oregon Pacific-Cascade Chapter, NECA was founded in 1974 with 27 member contractors. Today, the Chapter has 45 members and represents over 180 electrical contractors from Woodburn south down the I-5 corridor to Siskiyou and Modoc counties in California, and from the coast to Bend and Klamath Falls. NECA provides electrical contractors with the resources to directly influence their industry through cooperative labor relations, governmental affairs activities and progressive risk management/workplace safety programs.

The Central Pennsylvania Chapter, Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. covers Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Lebanon, Lancaster, Adams, Franklin, and Perry Counties. They are an association for electrical and systems contractors who represent businesses engaged in the installation and maintenance of electrical wiring and devices for homes, schools, commercial establishments, industrial plants, and similar projects. Their largest program is an apprenticeship program to train construction electricians.
