The Atlantic Coast Chapter, NECA was established in 1997 by the merger of equals of the Carolinas and Virginia Chapters' of NECA. Today, the Chapter continues the tradition of service to the electrical contracting industry that was started by its predecessor chapters in the 1930s. The Chapter represents qualified and experienced electrical contractors in Ashville, Charlotte, Raleigh/Durham Triangle, Wilmington, Winston-Salem Triad, Charleston, Newport News, Norfolk, and Richmond. Within these areas, the Chapter maintains relationships with the Local Unions of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW)

The Central Texas Chapter of the IEC was started in August 1996 by twelve Independent Electrical Contractors with an objective of recruiting and training electricians for their businesses. This chapter has grown to over 70 contractor members, 30 associate members and 6 industry platinum partners with more than 200 apprentices currently enrolled in school. Their geographical area includes Bastrop, Bell, Burnet, Caldwell, Coryell, Hays, Lampasas, McLennan, Travis and Williamson Counties. Bringing together contractor members, industry partners, customers, suppliers and service providers is their focus.
